Description
This is the adhesive. It goes on the wall with a notched trowel and the stone beds into it.
But not any adhesive will do. Flexible stone is a thin sheet that works — it expands with heat and follows whatever the wall does. A rigid adhesive under a sheet that moves will eventually crack along the line of stress.
This one is class C2TE S1. The S1 means deformable — that is the letter that matters. The T means it will not slip down the wall as it sets, and the E gives you time to position the panel before it grabs.
Grey or white? Grey does for almost everything. Choose white when the stone is very pale and the adhesive colour could show through.
